Xiaojing Ma, PhD
I joined the Uppaluri lab in 2019 as a visiting scholar from Hefei University of Technology, China. Pharmaceutical Engineering, especially biopharmaceutical engineering, is my main research area. Here, I work with Dr. Liye Zhou and focus on tumor immunology in head and neck cancer for new therapeutic target discovery and identification of key immunoregulatory pathways in adaptive resistance to anti-PD1 therapy in HNSCC. In my free time, I love reading, and go running and hiking.
