Liye Zhou, PhD
I joined Uppaluri lab in 2017 after completing my PhD in lipid biology at State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. My current research interest is to identify key immunoregulatory pathways in adaptive resistance to anti-PD1 therapy in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC). I am employing an integrated approach to improve understanding of tumor cell intrinsic and extrinsic pathways contributing to immunotherapy resistance using HNSCC murine model systems and human specimens.
I love interacting with people, swimming, and furry animals!
Liye is working at Novartis but still joins the lab for fun events!
